The City of Greensboro's Human Resources department is putting the ‘green’ in Greensboro and replacing the paper employment application with iApplyGreensboro.  

iApplyGreensboro CupiApplyGreensboro is the City’s job application and career portal designed to make your life easier, better, happier. Applying has never been easier! The portal will be online starting on July 6, 2015.

To prepare for the new online system, the public service departments and the Coliseum department will be the only departments accepting applications between now and July 6, 2015, when the new system opens. To learn about these openings, please go directly to their websites:

The City only accept applications for jobs that are currently posted. Postings for general employment will be available after July 6, using the new system. The City of Greensboro is a great place to work and we look forward to receiving your application through the new online system, iApplyGreensboro.

You may submit your materials to a public safety position using one of these three ways:

  • E-mail: After you have completed the application, save it (see directions for how to save your PDF application below), attach it to an e-mail, and email to us. Our e-mail address is: city.employment@greensboro-nc/gov. You can attach all supporting documents to the same e-mail.
  • Mail:If you need to drop off an employment packet for an public safety position, you may do so in person at: Human Resources Department Employment Office 
         Plaza Level, Melvin Municipal Office Building

  • You may also mail your completed public safety application to: City of Greensboro
