The Reading Garden is used for the Junior Master Gardeners program and
for other nature and gardening programs. The garden is a great place to
visit and enjoy a good book outside.
The garden is located
behind the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch. The garden was
initially planted by Cadet Girl Scout Troop 66. The garden has been
expanded and more plants have been added by a Master Garden volunteer.
The garden features native plants, water conservation measures and is a
certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat.
Visit the Kathleen Clay Edwards Library
for an updated plant list for the garden.
