October is National Community Planning Month and to celebrate the occasion, the City's Planning Department has scheduled free events and community activities to recognize the value and importance of planning. A list of events is below and more information can be found on this Facebook page.
This year's national theme — Innovation in Planning — underscores the important role community planning plays in addressing and adapting to challenges faced by towns and cities in the 21st century.
