E. Market Street Lane Closure and Truck Detour

GREENSBORO, NC – (August 31, 2007) – The City of Greensboro Department of Transportation announces the closing of eastbound and westbound traffic lanes of East Market Street at the intersection of East Market and English Street, beginning on Tuesday, September 4. 

The intersection will be reduced to two-way traffic for paving and stamping activities. A truck detour for both east and west bound traffic will be in place leading traffic along Wendover Avenue and US Highway 29. 

The closures will continue through Friday, September 7, at 4 pm. Motorists are asked to use caution when driving in the area and obey posted signs.
