Additional Waterline Installation Road Closures

Beginning at 7 pm on Thursday, April 30, Virginia Street will be closed at its intersection with eastbound Wendover Avenue and one lane of eastbound Wendover Avenue between Cridland Road and Carolina Street will also be closed due to waterline installation. Work is expected to be completed by 5 pm on Saturday, May 2. However, water valve replacement will again close Virginia Street from W. Wendover Avenue to E. Northwood Street from 8 am to mid-afternoon on Sunday, May 3. Water service will be interrupted on Virginia Street that day for about five hours.

Also, Cridland Road will be closed due to water valve replacement from 7 am to 5 pm on Sunday, May 3, from W. Wendover Avenue to Latham Road.

And beginning at 9 am on Monday and Tuesday, May 4-5, the northbound lanes of Hill Street and Latham Road where they intersect with eastbound Wendover will also be closed due to waterline installation. Work on these roads is expected to be completed each day by 4 pm.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes in these areas.
