 S. Elm Street and W. Wendover Avenue Lane Closures

Three City projects are expected to close a section of S. Elm Street and two sections of W. Wendover Avenue on Sunday, August 30.

First, beginning at 2 am, S. Elm Street between Washington and McGee streets will be closed due to water maintenance repairs. Weather-permitting, the work is expected to be completed by 10 am. Also, beginning at 3:30 am on August 30, water service along S. Elm Street will be interrupted.

Second, beginning at 6:30 am, two eastbound lanes of W. Wendover Avenue between Holden Road and W. Friendly Avenue will be closed due to sewer maintenance repairs. Weather-permitting, the work is expected to be completed by 5 pm.

Third, beginning at 7 am, the turning lane and two eastbound lanes of W. Wendover Avenue between Edwardia Drive and Norwalk Street will be closed due to water maintenance repairs. Again weather-permitting, the work is expected to be completed by 3 pm. Water service will be interrupted from 8 am to 2 pm along W. Wendover between Edwardia Drive to Tri-City Boulevard.

Motorists should expect delays in all these area.
