Eagles' "Long Road Out of Eden Tour" Comes to Greensboro Coliseum January 17
GREENSBORO, NC -- (November 5, 2008) -- Following the success of their No. 1 album, "Long Road Out of Eden," the Eagles will perform live at Greensboro Coliseum on Saturday, January 17.
Tickets go on sale Friday, November 14 at 10 am at www.ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets including participating area Lowe's Foods locations and FYE and Macy’s stores, charge-by-phone at (336) 852-1100 or at the Greensboro Coliseum box office. The American Express Early On Sale will take place Friday, November 7 at 10 am and continue through Thursday, November 13 at 10 pm.
The band - Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt - will be performing current hits from "Long Road Out of Eden," including “How Long" and “Busy Being Fabulous,” as well as their classic songs.

Long Road Out of Eden has been certified seven times Platinum by the RIAA. Released October 30, the album debuted at No. 1, with sales of 711,000 units, and in only nine weeks became the biggest selling album by a group in 2007, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The Eagles won the 2008 Grammy Award for Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for "How Long."
The January 17 performance will mark the band’s seventh Greensboro Coliseum appearance and first since 2003.
