Lunch & Learn with Guilford County Historian Gayle Fripp
Lunchtime lectures to feature "Historic Neighborhoods" on Feb. 10 and "Churches 1830-1950" on Feb. 23
In conjunction with the publication of her new book, Greensboro, Vol.2: Neighborhoods, Guilford County Historian and Assistant Museum Director Gayle Fripp will present two slide-illustrated lectures at the museum in February. Advance reservations are required (details follow), as there is a charge for the programs.
The cost is $15 with a box lunch, and $5 for the lecture only. Lunch will be served at 12:30 pm, and the program will begin at 1 pm. Reservations may be made by mailing a check to the Greensboro Historical Museum, 130 Summit Ave, 27401-3004. Deadlines are two days before each program. No refunds can be made for canceled reservations.
Copies of Fripp's two Greensboro books will be available for purchase, and book signings will follow the lectures. Questions? Call 373-2043.
