Y2K Finance Forum to be Held 

The Guilford County Industry Forum and Greensboro - Guilford County Emergency Management will co-sponsor a Y2K forum tomorrow, Thursday, April 8 at Novartis, 410 Swing Road, from 10 am to 12 noon. The forum will focus on the finance community and its preparedness for Y2K, and will feature representatives from Nations Bank and Merrill Lynch as part of a panel discussion group. There is no cost and the public is invited to attend.

Tomorrow's workshop is part of an ongoing series of Y2K monthly forums that includes:

• May 13 ~ Emergency/Medical (Emergency Services & Hospital Representatives)
• June 10 ~ Regulatory Impact (EPA OSHA RCRA SBA)
• July 8 ~ Transportation (Trucking Airlines Railroads Pipelines DOT)
• August 12 ~ Citizen Preparedness (Home Readiness/Retail)
• September 8 ~ Educational Facilities (Public and Private Representatives)
