Join in Hurricane Floyd Collection Effort 

Cone Mills Corporation, Guilford County Fire, Guilford County Emergency Management Services and City of Greensboro Fire are participating in a joint effort to collect supplies for victims of Hurricane Floyd. Collection point will be the Greensboro Fire Department Training Center at 1512 North Church Street. Citizens and Emergency Service providers are encouraged to bring the following supplies to the Central Collection Point September 25 - 29 from 7 am to 7 pm.

Specific supplies needed include:

• Paper products (plates, spoons, etc)
• Personal hygiene supplies
• Pet food, cat litter, blankets, towels, leashes, collars
• Bottled water
• Non-perishable foods
• Disinfectant items
• Baby supplies
• Rubber boots and gloves
• Bug spray
• Pails and mops
