Greensboro Transit Authority Joins the Green Heroes Program 

The Greensboro Transit Authority is now a member of the City’s Green Heroes Program. The Departments of Environmental Services, Parks and Recreation, and Transportation have teamed up to offer the Green Heroes environmental adoption programs. Organizations can now Adopt-A-Shelter in addition to Adopt-A-Street, Adopt-A-Stream, and Adopt-A-Park opportunities.

Any group such as a business, organization, neighborhood association, or church can adopt a bus shelter. A Green Heroes sign with the association’s name printed on it will be placed inside the shelter. Also, GTA will offer special Green Heroes advertising on its buses.
