Tune In to Channel 13 to Watch McKinsey Presentation
On Thursday, January 11 at 5:30 pm, Channel 13 will broadcast from the City Council Chamber a live presentation of The McKinsey Report presented by Jim Melvin of the Bryan Foundation and Skip Moore of the Weaver Foundation. The report, entitled "Building Consensus for Greensboro’s Future," is a 41-page evaluation of Greater Greensboro and focuses on three areas: economic evaluation, economic forecast and discussion agenda. At the end of the presentation there will be time for discussion and available Council members will take questions from audience members.
Greensboro Mayor Keith Holliday hopes that everyone in Greensboro will tune in to hear the report. "I believe this presentation is a perfect opportunity for Greensboro to hear live this valuable information. I hope everyone will make an effort to stop their daily activity and get in front of a TV and tune to Channel 13. All of us have a role and responsibility to play when it comes to the economic vitality of Greensboro."
McKinsey & Co. was founded in the United States in 1926 and is a leading strategic management consulting firm with offices worldwide. The company spent five weeks conducting interviews with business and civic leaders and collecting a fact base drawn from government, industry and private sources. Six community foundations financed the report: Joseph M. Bryan, Cemala, Community, Moses Cone Wesley Long, Tannenbaum-Sternberger and Weaver.
