Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge 

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 1,000 gallons of untreated wastewater from our sewer main located at Battleground Ave at Brassfield Rd. The discharge occurred on January 16 for approximately 40 minutes due to an 8-inch main stopped with grease. The untreated wastewater entered Horsepen Creek of the Haw River river basin. The main was rodded and the creek flushed to prevent further discharge.

This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
