Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 2,000 gallons of untreated wastewater from our sewer main located at Creek Bend Apartments #3939. The discharge occurred on January 22 for approximately one hour due to grease in the main. The untreated wastewater entered South Buffalo creek of the Haw River basin. The line was rodded to prevent further discharge.

This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
