Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge 

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 1,000 gallons of untreated wastewater from our sewer main located at 1814 Amber Lane. The discharge occurred on January 26 for approximately one hour due to 10-inch sewer main being stopped with rags. The untreated wastewater entered South Buffalo creek of the Haw River river basin. The main was rodded and the creek flushed to prevent further discharge.

This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
