Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 1,000 gallons of untreated wastewater from our sewer main located at 3730 Battleground Ave. The discharge occurred on Sunday, January 28, for approximately 15 minutes due to rock and grease. The untreated wastewater entered North Buffalo creek of the Haw River river basin. The line was rodded to prevent further discharge.

This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
