Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge 

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 2,000 gallons of untreated wastewater from our sewer main located at Barrington Place Apartments behind #2 Sommerton Dr. The discharge occurred on February 7, for approximately two hours due to grease, paper and rocks in a 10-inch main. The untreated wastewater entered North Buffalo creek of the Haw River river basin. The sewer main was rodded to prevent further discharge and flushing was done extensively.

This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
