Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge 

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 1,000 gallons of untreated wastewater from our sewer main located at Orman Road at Nathanael Greene Drive. The discharge occurred on May 24 for approximately four hours due to an 8-inch main stopped with grease. The untreated wastewater entered North Buffalo creek of the Haw River river basin. The main was rodded and the creek flushed to prevent further discharge.

This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
