Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge 

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 1,500 gallons of untreated wastewater from the sewer main located at 3708 Mizell Rd. The discharge occurred on June 5 for approximately 30 minutes due to an 8-inch main stopped with grease. The untreated wastewater entered North Buffalo creek of the Haw River basin. The main was jetted and the creek flushed to prevent further discharge.

This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
