Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge 

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 1,200 gallons of untreated wastewater from our sewer main located at 3310 North Church St. The discharge occurred on June 18 for approximately 16 hours due to a 10-inch main stopped with sludge. The untreated wastewater entered North Buffalo creek of the Haw River basin. The main was jetted and vactored, and the creek flushed to prevent further discharge.

This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
