Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge 

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 15,000 gallons of untreated wastewater from our sewer force main located in the 6300 block of Burnt Poplar Rd. The discharge occurred on July 2 for approximately two hours due to a contractor hitting the sewer force main. The untreated wastewater entered East Fork Deep River creek of the Deep River basin. The force main was repaired & the creek flushed to prevent further discharge. 

 This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
