Notice of Untreated Sewage Discharge 

The City of Greensboro had a discharge of approximately 3,000 gallons of untreated wastewater from our Albert Pick Road pump station located at Gallimore Dairy Road and Burnt Poplar Road. The discharge occurred on September 25 for approximately one and one half hours due to Odebrecht Construction hitting a sewer force main. The untreated wastewater entered E. Fork Deep River tributary of the Deep River basin.  The hole was patched with a 12-inch clamp to prevent further discharge.

This notice was issued in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215.C.
