Yard Waste Collection Codes Return to Normal January 13, 2003

City yard waste codes will go back into effect on Monday, January 13, 2003.  Yard waste should be placed in clear plastic bags, or placed in a 32-gallon metal or plastic trashcan, or tied in bundles no longer than five feet.  Bags, containers or bundles  should not weigh more than 50 pounds. Yard waste is collected on the same day as trash and recycling, and should be at the curb by 7 am.

Final collection for debris caused by the December ice storm will begin on Monday, January 13.  All areas within the city limits will receive one collection service during this cycle. Residents that don’t have their debris out at that time will need to prepare it to standard yard waste collection code for pickup by the Solid Waste Department.
