Final Call for February Storm Debris Collection
With 22,500 tons of debris from the February 27, 2003 ice storm already collected, City of Greensboro crews are wrapping up the biggest storm debris collection in Greensboro's history. City crews would like to thank all citizens for their patience during this difficult collection process that is nearing conclusion.
Citizens are advised to call 373-2375 by Wednesday, May 21 to report any storm debris from the February storm that has not yet been collected. After May 21, any special collection needs will be the responsibility of the property owner.
All trash currently being placed at the curb must be prepared to code. Tree limbs and yard waste should be placed in containers no larger than 32 gallons and no heavier than 50 pounds, placed in clear plastic bags no heavier than 50 pounds, or tied in bundles not more than 5 feet long and no heavier than 50 pounds.
