Statewide Water Conference Comes to Greensboro Hands-on training and technical seminars help water professionals expand skills
GREENSBORO, NC -- (November 9, 2006) – The North Carolina Section of the American Water Works Association and the North Carolina Water Environment Association (NC AWWA-WEA) will hold its 86th Annual Conference November 12 -15 at the Sheraton Four Seasons Hotel / Koury Convention Center, 3121 High Point Road.
The opening session will begin with the Presentation of Colors by Boy Scout Troop 101 and the National Anthem by UNCG student vocalist, Hope Fairchild. Greensboro City Council member Tom Phillips will open the festivities by welcoming conference participants to Greensboro.
Water and wastewater operators, technicians, engineers, water resource professionals and municipal employees will attend interactive sessions, enjoy networking opportunities and visit a vendor area where more than 86 exhibitors will display their products or services.
