One City One Book Opening Program and Reception

This year’s One City, One Book selection is Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. This project, which unites the entire community to share and discuss one book, will run from August 27 through October 15. One City, One Book events include plays, lectures, discussions, films, children’s programs and more.

You are invited to the Opening Program & Reception featuring previews of upcoming plays from Triad Stage, Community Theatre of Greensboro and Touring Theatre Ensemble of North Carolina. Music will be provided by the Sinai Mountain Ramblers, a Klezmer band influenced by jazz, blues, and rock. Also at the opening, we will hear remarks from a Holocaust survivor. Join us August 27 at Central Library from 3 to 4 pm!
