Greensboro Fire Department Receives Award of Distinction for "Behind the Flames" Video

The Greensboro Fire Department is pleased to announce it has received the Award of Distinction at the 13th Annual Communicator Awards competition for its video production of “Behind the Flames – An Inside Look at the Greensboro Fire Department.”

The video is the first of a planned series highlighting a day in the life of a Firefighter, a Fire Equipment Operator, Captain, Battalion Chief, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, and most exciting of all, will follow the footsteps of the Fire Chief as he provides leadership to those most instrumental in his day-to-day operations.

The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and excellence and are judged on creativity and resourcefulness.
