Public Comment Period Announced for Draft 2007-2013 MTIP
and Triad Conformity Determination Report

GREENSBORO, NC – The Greensboro Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) invites interested citizens to review and submit comments on the Final Draft Greensboro Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program (MTIP) for fiscal years 2007 to 2013. The MTIP is the official transportation investment schedule for state and federal funded highway, public transportation, rail, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, and transportation enhancement projects. You are also invited to submit comments on the Draft Triad Conformity Determination Report. The report includes analysis of air quality impacts for the Triad area.

This public review and comment period is an opportunity for interested citizens to learn more about the Draft MTIP and Draft Conformity Report. Comments on the documents will be shared with state and regional transportation decision makers.

The Draft MTIP and Draft Conformity Document will be available for review and comment on Thursday, March 1, 2007 online at http://www.guampo.org and at several public locations. Please contact the Greensboro MPO at 373-3117 if you need assistance in gaining access to the documents.
