Greensboro Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program
Public Meeting Set for Tonight

GREENSBORO – This evening, the Greensboro Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (GUAMPO) will hold a public meeting on the Draft Greensboro Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program (MTIP) for fiscal years 2007 to 2013. 

The MTIP is the official transportation investment schedule for state and federal funded highway, public transportation, rail, bicycle, and pedestrian facilities, and transportation enhancement projects.  The meeting will be held in the Nussbaum Room of the Greensboro Central Library located at 219 N. Church Street in Greensboro. 

This public meeting is being held to provide an opportunity for interested citizens to receive detailed information about the Draft 2007 - 2013 MTIP. The meeting will begin with an open house session at 4 pm, followed at 6 pm by an informational presentation, with a question / comment period.
