Additional Charges in Financial Crime Investigation

GREENSBORO -- Greensboro Police Detectives have filed additional charges against two suspects involved in a series of financial crimes involving a check scheme at local banks. The two suspects were returned to Guilford County last night after being extradited from Brandon, Mississippi. The suspects are identified as Terrell Leavette Raynor, 37 and Derrick Lavon McDowell, 37.

Both suspects were charged with 15 additional counts of obtaining property by false pretense with a total loss of $2,785,000. They were placed in the Guilford County Jail under a $500,000 bond.
