City Offices Closed for Good Friday
Holiday Results in Early Garbage Collection Schedule

GREENSBORO -- City of Greensboro offices will be closed on Friday, April 6 in observance of Good Friday. The following services and facilities will operate on a holiday schedule:

• No garbage, recycling, bulk trash, yard waste, and appliance services will take place on Friday, April 6.  Friday’s collection will take place on Thursday, April 5. Thursday’s garbage collection will take place on Wednesday, April 4.
• The White Street Landfill and the Solid Waste Transfer Station will both be closed on Friday, April 6. Regular hours will resume Saturday, April 7.  
• All branches of the Greensboro Public Library will be closed Friday, April 6 and Sunday, April 8. They will operate regular hours on Saturday, April 7. 
• The Greensboro Historical Museum will be closed on Friday, April 6 and Sunday, April 8. 
• The Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA) will operate on its normal schedule.
