City Offices Closed for Fourth of July

GREENSBORO, NC (June 28, 2007) – City of Greensboro offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 for Independence Day. The following services and facilities will operate as follows:

• There is no change to the trash and recycling collection schedule for the July 4 week.
• The White Street Landfill and the Solid Waste Transfer Station will both be closed on July 4.
• All branches of the Greensboro Public Library will be closed July 4.
• The Greensboro Historical Museum will be open July 4.
• The Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA) will operate on a Saturday schedule on July 4. Buses will run on the hour from 6 am to 10 pm.
