Greensboro Coliseum Complex Moving to Ticketmaster

GREENSBORO – Ticketmaster, the world’s leading ticketing company, will begin its multi-year agreement with the Greensboro Coliseum Complex on Tuesday, July 3, whereby Ticketmaster will serve as the exclusive authorized ticketing company for the complex’s various venues.

Ticketmaster will provide ticketing services for the more than 850 annual events hosted at the Greensboro Coliseum, Special Events Center, Pavilion and War Memorial Auditorium. Patrons throughout North Carolina and beyond will have easy and convenient access to Greensboro Coliseum Complex event tickets and information online at Ticketmaster.com, via Ticketmaster’s Charge-By-Phone Network at (336) 852-1100 in Greensboro and (336) 724-6400 in Winston-Salem, and at Ticketmaster retail ticket center locations including the FYE and Macy’s stores in Greensboro.

"Moving our ticketing operations to Ticketmaster is a natural step in our continuing commitment to provide our patrons and the events that play at our venues with the best possible level of service,” said Matt Brown, managing director of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. “We evaluated various ticketing providers and Ticketmaster presented the most comprehensive proposal. We were particularly impressed with their capabilities in the areas of e-commerce and how we will be able to more effectively promote our events through e-blasts and other cutting-edge marketing techniques.”

Ticketmaster will also install its state-of-the-art access control system at the complex’s various venues in addition to working with the complex staff to implement Ticketmaster’s marketing products and promotional programs.

In addition to Ticketmaster, tickets for all events will also continue to be sold at the Greensboro Coliseum advance box office. Normal box office hours are Monday – Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm. However, please note the Coliseum box office will be closed on July 1 and 2 as the Coliseum completes the process of switching its ticketing system to Ticketmaster. As of 12 am on July 1, tickets for Greensboro Coliseum Complex events will no longer be available on www.tickets.com.*

Eastern Music Festival and EMF Fringe events will remain on Tickets.com through July 31. Tickets for EMF will continue to be available at the Coliseum box office, through www.tickets.com, select Lowes Food Stores or by calling Tickets.com at (888) 397-3100. Tickets for Eastern Music Festival events will NOT be available through Ticketmaster.

*Tickets for NC vs. The World (scheduled for July 7 in the Coliseum Special Events Center) will continue to be sold exclusively at the Coliseum box office or through www.tickets.com.
