Library Offers Intro To Blogging Class

Computer Lab - Central Library, February 20 at 6 pm

The Greensboro Public Library is offering an Introduction to Blogging class featuring guest instructor, Billy [Jones] the Blogging Poet. In this two-hour session you will learn what ‘Blogs are, and how to create one for yourself. Billy Jones is coordinator of the Triad Bloggers Meet Up. He has maintained his own blog since 2002.

This session is for anyone who wants to create a blog, or just wants to be more informed about this form of Internet publishing.

“Greensboro is sometimes referred to as Blogsboro, due to the high profile blogging that originates here,” says librarian Jen Worrells. “With public computers and free WiFi, the Library is a hot spot for bloggers.”

This class will meet on Tuesday, February 20 at 6 pm in the Second Floor Computer Lab (Room 208) at Central Library. Space is limited so please register by calling 335-5430.
