Community Resource Fair Provides Info to Job Seekers
GREENSBORO, NC -- (October 9, 2007) – The City of Greensboro's Job Link / Workforce Development Center will sponsor a Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, October 10 from 8 to 11 am at the corner of Eugene and Bragg streets.
People in transition or ex-military are encouraged to attend this free event to learn more about entering the workforce, changing careers, developing job skills, and navigating benefits provided by social service organizations. Representatives from the following agencies will be available to address questions: Alcohol and Drug Services, Greensboro Housing Coalition, Greensboro Police Department, Health Serve, Guilford County Department of Social Services, Veterans Affairs, Welfare Reform Liaison Project, and more.
