Residents Invited to View Draft Concepts for High Point Road / West Lee Street Corridor
GREENSBORO, NC – (December 5, 2007) – Draft concepts for future development in the High Point Road / West Lee Street Corridor are available for public review on the City of Greensboro’s website and in the City’s Planning Department.
The High Point Road / West Lee Street area is identified in the City’s Comprehensive Plan as one of several areas that would benefit from increased economic investment and visual improvements. The City hopes that this process will encourage and guide both public and private investment in the area.
The draft concepts were first presented during a public meeting on November 15. Meeting attendees and the Corridor Plan Citizen Committee asked the Planning Department to continue to make the draft concepts available for public review.
The draft concepts may be reviewed at www.greensboro-nc.gov/departments/Planning/compplan/draftcorridorplanconcepts.htm or in the Planning Department on the third floor of the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington St. Persons reviewing these concepts may complete a survey to provide feedback on the various options. Completed surveys should be returned to the Planning Department by Monday, December 31.
