GTA Schedule Changes for Weekend Football Event

GREENSBORO, NC -- (September 21, 2007) -- Due to the North Carolina A&T State University/North Carolina Central University football game Saturday, September 22 at A&T, Greensboro Transit Authority has issued the following detours for GTA Routes 14 (Bessemer/Phillips), 22 Evening (East Market/Bessemer/Phillips), and HEAT Route 75 (NCA&T HEAT):

• Route 14 Outbound will deviate from its normal schedule at Lindsay Street, making a left on Yanceyville, right on Summit, right on Bessemer, left on Homeland and right back onto East Wendover. Inbound Route 14 will leave its regular schedule at Lindsay turning right on Bessemer, left on Summit, left on Yanceyville, right on Lindsay and left back onto Greene Street. Route 14’s detour will begin at 5 pm.
• Route 22 will deviate from its normal schedule at Bessemer Avenue, turning left on Summit, left on Yanceyville, right on Lindsay and left back on Church. Route 22’s detour will begin at 7 pm.
• Route 75 Outbound will deviate from its normal schedule at Bluford Circle, turning right on Benbow, right on East Market, right on Dudley, right on Park and back to Sullivan. Inbound 75 will leave its normal schedule on Lindsay, turning left on Headquarters to Hwy. 29, right on East Market, and left on Benbow. Route 75’s detour will be in effect all day Saturday.
