College Financial Aid Workshop Scheduled

GREENSBORO, NC -- (January 2, 2008) -- When is the best time to start planning for college and how to pay for it? Right now! It’s never too early or too late to discover all of the resources available to help make your dream of higher education a reality.

On Saturday, January 19, the Greensboro Central Library will present a dynamic program titled "Finding Money for College" and featuring speakers from UNCG, GTCC and the City's Library Reference Department. The workshop will take place at the Central Library from 2-4 pm.

College can be affordable and you will find out how with information about scholarships, grants, loans and savings programs. This workshop will feature information on finding financial aid and tips for avoiding problems during the application process.
