High Point Road Merchants Association
Prepares to Reorganize

GREENSBORO, NC (February 6, 2008) – City Council member Trudy Wade and the Greensboro Merchants Association have planned a meeting of all High Point Road merchants and property owners at the Koury Convention Center, 3121 High Point Road on Tuesday, February 12, beginning at 8 am. The room location will be listed on the Convention Center directory. 

“This meeting is to investigate ways that the City and the Greensboro Merchants Association can help to re-energize the efforts of the High Point Road Merchants Association,” Wade said. “Collective participation is essential to the future success of this association and the changes that the group can accomplish.”

Representatives from several City departments, including Police, Engineering and Inspections, Economic Development, Planning, and Public Affairs, will be available to answer questions related to City services.
