Disaster Recovery Services Meeting Scheduled

GREENSBORO, NC -- (May 13, 2008) -- All parties affected by the May 8 storm and resulting tornado in Greensboro, including businesses, homeowners and nonprofit groups, are invited to attend a meeting tomorrow to learn about Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster recovery services.

The meeting will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 14 at the Western Division Substation of the Greensboro Police Department, 300 South Swing Road. The meeting room is located off the main entrance lobby.

The purpose of the briefing is to explain what disaster recovery services SBA may provide as a result of the May 8 storms. SBA provides various types of loans for businesses of all sizes as well as homeowners and renters, and nonprofit organizations.
