City Offices Closed for Memorial Day

GREENSBORO, NC -- (May 19, 2008) – City of Greensboro offices will be closed on Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. The following services and facilities will operate on a holiday schedule:
    • No trash or recycling pick-up will take place on Monday, May 26. Monday’s collection will take place on Tuesday, May 27. Tuesday’s collection takes place on Wednesday, May 28.
    • The White Street Landfill and the Solid Waste Transfer Station will both be closed on Monday, May 26.
    • All branches of the Greensboro Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 26, but will operate regular hours on Saturday and Sunday, May 24-25.
    • The Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA) will run a Saturday schedule on Monday, May 26. SCAT service will remain the same.
