New Wedding Gazebo Graces the Greensboro Arboretum
Greensboro, NC -- (May 20, 2008) -- Greensboro Beautiful, Inc. has received a gift from Stanley and Doris Tanger of a new Wedding Gazebo at the Greensboro Arboretum. The new structure features a stone base and steps and the roof features a copper roof and stately cupola. In addition, decorative benches have been installed inside the Gazebo, plantings in the Winter Garden have been renovated, a new concrete walkway has been installed, and a new lawn area is being established.
Randal Scott Romie, ASLA, volunteered to create the conceptual design; Steve Price, AIA, donated his architectural services; and Jim Wolfe, Wolfe Homes, served as the general contractor.
