Community Invited to “Walk Against Crime”
GREENSBORO, NC – (June 3, 2008) – The Greensboro Police Department invites the public to “Walk Against Crime” on Friday, June 6.
“This event will give residents a chance to connect with the Police Department and other City departments, human service agencies, and community organizations to help prevent and control crime and to help provide multiple solutions to problems that exist in our communities,” said Anne Gregory, community relations manager for the Police Department.
The walk will begin at 6 pm at the New Zion Community Enrichment Center, 414 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and will conclude at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 600 E. Florida Street.
