Greensboro Fire Department Announces Recent Promotions

GREENSBORO, NC -- (July 2, 2008) -- The following members of the Greensboro Fire Department were promoted during the month of June:

• Firefighter Kevin Gray promoted to Fire Equipment Operator, assigned to Station 41
• Firefighter Jeff White promoted to Fire Equipment Operator, assigned to Station 57
• Firefighter Brett Combs promoted to Captain, assigned to Station 5
• Fire Investigator Wayne Delancey promoted to Captain, assigned to the Fire Prevention Bureau
• Fire Equipment Operator Brad Shumate promoted to Captain, assigned to Station 19
• Fire Equipment Operator Adam Williams promoted to Captain, assigned to Station 17.
