Community Invited to Participate in Second “Walk Against Crime”
GREENSBORO, NC – (July 22, 2008) – The Greensboro Police Department invites the public to participate in the second “Walk Against Crime” on Thursday, July 24.
The walk will begin at 7 pm at Unity Funeral Service, 544 Jolson St., and will conclude at Erwin Montessori Elementary School on East Bessemer Avenue.
“This community event will give residents a chance to connect with the Police Department, human service agencies, City departments, and community organizations to help prevent and control crime,” said Anne Gregory, community relations manager for the Police Department. “Ultimately, we want to help provide multiple solutions to problems that exist in our communities.”
