City Adds New Drop Box Location for City Payments

GREENSBORO, NC -- (July 23, 2008) – The City of Greensboro Collections Division is offering a second drop box for city payments at the J. Douglas Galyon Depot Transportation Center, 236-C, E. Washington Street. The newest drop box is located inside the Greensboro Transit Authority, GTA lobby. It is accessible between 5:30 am and 11pm, every day. Another drop box is located at the J. Edward Kitchen Operations Center, 2602 S. Elm-Eugene Street.

No cash payments may be deposited in the drop box; only checks or money orders are accepted. All payments must include a payment stub to assure proper credit.

Payments deposited in the drop box will be posted by 5 pm on the next business day following deposit. If your water service has been turned off, you will need to pay your bill in person during normal business hours from 8 am to 5 pm.
