Public Comment Session Regarding
War Memorial Stadium Improvements

GREENSBORO -- (August 5, 2008) -- The public is invited to provide input related to proposals for War Memorial Stadium improvements during a public comment session during the Parks & Recreation Commission's regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 13 at 6 pm at Smith Senior Center, 2401 Fairview St. 

Built in 1926 in honor of veterans, War Memorial Stadium has served the community as a venue for minor league, collegiate and recreational / competitive baseball. Improvements are being proposed to address structural conditions as a result of the facility's age, weather and wear.
