City Offices Closed for Labor Day
GREENSBORO, NC -- (August 25, 2008) – City of Greensboro offices will be closed on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day. The following services and facilities will operate on a holiday schedule:
- No trash or recycling pick-up will take place on Monday, September 1. Monday’s collection will take place on Tuesday, September 2. Tuesday’s collection takes place on Wednesday, September 3.
- The White Street Landfill and the Solid Waste Transfer Station will both be closed on Monday, September 1.
- All branches of the Greensboro Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 1, but will operate regular hours on Saturday and Sunday, August 30-31.
- GTA, SCAT and HEAT will run a Saturday transportation schedule on Monday, September 1.
