Street Flooding Delays City Public Transportation Services

GREENSBORO, NC – August 27, 2008 – Greensboro Transit Authority has issued a service advisory for users of its public transportation services. In the wake of today’s heavy precipitation, GTA, HEAT and SCAT are experiencing service delays and route detours caused by flooding and road traffic. Some bus stops may be unreachable and temporary stops will be used. For updated service information, GTA and HEAT riders can call GTA customer service at 335-6499. SCAT riders can obtain information at 333-6589.
