Public Hearing Set for High Point Road/West Lee Street Corridor Plan Plan to be heard by City Council on December 16, 2008
GREENSBORO, NC (December 12, 2008) – The City of Greensboro Planning Department has scheduled a public hearing to complete the public adoption process for the High Point Road/West Lee Street Corridor Plan. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, December 16, starting at 6 pm, before the City Council in Council Chambers of the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 West Washington Street.
This public hearing follows a November 19 public hearing before the City’s Planning Board. At the November 19 hearing, the Planning Board voted unanimously to recommend approval of the Plan.
The High Point Road/West Lee Street area is identified in the City’s Comprehensive Plan as one of several areas that would benefit from increased economic investment and visual improvements.
